WORCESTER, MA

Worcester, MA is the home of the original Hotdog Safari.

What started in 2011 as a simple idea — eat great hot dogs and raise money for a good cause — has grown into the flagship Hotdog Safari event. Today, the Worcester Safari works year-round to support local food pantries across Massachusetts, including the Worcester County Food Bank.

Each fall, food lovers from across the region gather in Worcester for a day dedicated to one thing: the pursuit of the perfect hot dog. Armed with an official Hotdog Safari scorecard, participants travel around the city sampling hot dogs from local vendors and rating their favorites along the way.

But the Worcester Hotdog Safari is about more than great food. It’s a community tradition packed with friendly competition, exclusive Safari merchandise, and plenty of opportunities to support the mission of fighting food insecurity in our local area.

Whether you're here for the hot dogs, the adventure, or the cause, the Worcester Hotdog Safari is proof that doing good can also taste pretty great.
